Welcome to GetJobsZambia. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our job platform and services. By accessing or using GetJobsZambia, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using GetJobsZambia, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. Description of Service
GetJobsZambia is an online job marketplace that connects job seekers with employers in Zambia and beyond. We provide a platform for posting job listings, searching for opportunities, and facilitating connections between candidates and employers. We also offer free tools including resume builders and cover letter generators.
3. User Accounts and Registration
To access certain features of our service, you may be required to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Maintain the security of your password and identification
- Accept all responsibility for activities that occur under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
4. User Conduct and Responsibilities
You agree to use GetJobsZambia only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the platform. Prohibited behavior includes:
- Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Harassing, threatening, or discriminating against other users
- Impersonating any person or entity or falsely stating your affiliation with any person or entity
- Uploading or transmitting viruses, malware, or any other malicious code
- Collecting or storing personal data about other users without their permission
- Using automated systems to access the service without authorization
- Violating any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
5. Job Listings and Content
For Employers:
- You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of job postings
- Job postings must comply with all applicable employment laws and regulations
- You must not post discriminatory job listings based on race, gender, religion, age, or other protected characteristics
- We reserve the right to remove any job listing that violates these terms
For Job Seekers:
- You are responsible for the accuracy of information in your profile and applications
- You must not submit false credentials or misrepresent your qualifications
- All applications and communications should be professional and respectful
6. Intellectual Property Rights
The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by GetJobsZambia and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any of our proprietary materials without our express written permission.
7. Third-Party Services and Links
Our service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by GetJobsZambia. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You acknowledge and agree that GetJobsZambia shall not be responsible or liable for any damage or loss caused by or in connection with the use of any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such websites or services.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
GetJobsZambia provides the service "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, expressed or implied. We do not guarantee:
- The accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information on the service
- That the service will be available at any particular time or location
- That any defects or errors will be corrected
- That the service is free of viruses or other harmful components
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GetJobsZambia shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the service.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GetJobsZambia and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including without limitation reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of another.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the service or contact us to request account deletion.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Zambia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
If you have any dispute with us, you agree to first contact us at [email protected] to seek a resolution. We will try to resolve any disputes through good faith negotiations. If we cannot resolve a dispute within 60 days, you agree that any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the Arbitration Act of Zambia.
