Project Engineer

PROJECT ENGINEER – OIL & GAS Position: Project Engineer Location: Ndola Company: Lake Petroleum Reports to: Head of Engineering Deadline: 9th December 2025. About the Role We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Project Engineer with strong experience in the oil and gas sector. The successful candidate will support the planning, execution, and completion of fuel infrastructure projects, including depots, service stations, pipelines, and mechanical installations. Key Responsibilities ·      Support the design, planning, and coordination of oil & gas infrastructure projects. ·      Prepare engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications. ·      Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to engineering, HSE, and industry standards. ·      Monitor project progress, timelines, and budgets. ·      Coordinate with contractors, vendors, regulatory bodies, and internal teams. ·      Ensure all works comply with Zambian regulatory requirements (ERB, ZEMA, Local Authorities). ·      Assist in procurement, equipment selection, and material verification. ·      Prepare progress reports and project documentation. ·      Participate in commissioning, testing, and handover of completed projects. Qualifications & Experience ·      Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related). ·      Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in engineering, with exposure to fuel, petroleum, or industrial projects. ·      Knowledge of oil & gas construction standards and HSE requirements. ·      Familiarity with fuel systems, tank installations, pumps, piping, and structural works. ·      Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.). ·      Strong analytical, planning, and project management skills.
